Did you see the American Music Awards? Have you seen the Alicia Keys segment where she integrated Jamaican reggae dancehall artistes into her number one "No One" song performance?

I've always loved Alicia Keys after seeing an interview of her done here in Jamaica a couple years back when she came and performed at one of our renowned music festivals... sorry, don't remember which one right now. ;-)

She struck me as a serious professional with a solid background and training in her craft. She writes a lot of her music and talked knowledgeably about real world issues and her concerns and wishes to help make the planet a better place.

NICE girl! My own daughter loves to sing and dance and she has begun to write her own music and out of all the young music stars that are there, the one that I encourage her to study and emulate is Alicia Keys.

Anyhow, if you missed the segment or just want to play it over and over like I do and like my kids were doing last night when they found the YouTube vid, here it is below. ENJOYYYYY! Thanks, kids!
