Wow!

I thought I was well rested last night when I shared the running commentary that I did via Twitter during the Beijing Olympic Games 2008 opening ceremony in the Bird Nest Stadium yesterday morning, August 8, 2008.

But alas, I found that I left out about six or seven pages! The list did seem short but... ;-)

So, I'll list the ones I left out now but starting from the beginning unlike yesterday's post, so it should be easier to follow. But I'm leaving out the links. If you really need those, you can check this Twitter search. OK, here we go, starting with page 8!!!!

OK, since that is now done, I still have to find the live feed channel here in Jamaica. Because the television stations paid so much money to carry the feed here, the cable company has blanked out all the other channels that carry the Olympics. I know we have a 24/7 channel locally but I just have to find it before I go crazy! ;-)

After I do, I'll give more live commentary on whatever I'm watching but I'll do it here on the blog because I don't want to manually have to go through my Twitter posts again to list them in the correct order after the fact.

What I will do is post occasionally to Twitter when I'm doing my commentary so anyone interested can see the entire thing here almost live... I'll be republishing often to keep it as live as possible.

OK, so that's it for the opening ceremony that totally blew my mind. It was awesome, splendacious. ;-) I don't remember which country is hosting in four years time but they have a hard act to follow!
