What If Jamaicans and Other World Citizens Ran In US Presidential Elections: A Look At a Food Revolution

Krazy Kevin got me this time! And I thought I'd share the love too.

Can you imagine the LIST of what-if's IF any one of us, including the few billion non-US citizens, could run in and win the US Presidential elections???

Well, with Kevin's help, I've got my campaign off to a rocking start... see the vid below.

But what I'd like you to consider before you get into the normal campaign stuff like the vid, is the absolute revolution in the US food culture that would occur. I mean, we eat about three times per day. So why shouldn't the revamping and internationalisation of food be a part of what candidates offer on the electoral choice menu?

My Presidential dinners and national Jamaican food days would be hot, tongue-burning affairs:

** Jamaican 'jerk chicken'




** Jamaican curried goat and chicken

** Jamaican 'run down'

** Jamaican escoveitched fish and fried fish




served with Jamaican fried breadfruit:



and fried plantains:




Then the fruit:

** Jamaican naseberries

** Jamaican guineps (lychee cousin)

All washed down with Red Stripe and Appleton Rum! ;-)
